What's the significance of 27 million?
How come 27 million?

This figure represents the statistics of human trafficking around the globe. A song has been composed to seek all Christians brothers and sisters to rise up and ceased such activities around the world. And if you are listening carefully, this figure is one of the largest figures for slavery in all mankind history. This is really sad. What has the world become?

Passion 2012 - White Flag

I love this album!!!  And I want to thank God for blessing these wonderful people that put this album altogether because it just totally blew me away!!! From it's very first track til the end just made me lift my hands up high and surrender to Him through out the whole CD session. It kicked start with a great jump with "Not Ashamed" & "White Flag" hitting the speakers. Trust me, you just can't control that joy it brings. That Joy that surpasses all human understanding.

While it was on replay mode, I just felt His presence just all on me. That inner/spiritual hunger and the intention & eagerness to search Him was even greater when "Jesus, Son of God" & "How I love You" goes off in the album. Although it was wrong of me to ask His presence to come where I'm not even worthy to be in His holy presence but you just wanted more of Him when the words are being sung through all these rightful rhythm and beautifully crafted melody.

All in all, none of the tracks let me down. I can guarantee with full assurance. Give it a try for you'll be blessed. If I have the time, I want to type out my thoughts and what speaks to me on each track. They are amazingly crafted.

Pastor has taken an extract from Matthew 7:3 to give us an insight instead of us judging, maybe it is ourselves that needed the spiritual self-evaluation before we put judgement on to others.

"Why do you look at the speck sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to your own eye?"

There's a saying that often :-
* We view things not only from different sides but with different eyes.
Why can't :-
* We see things not the way they are, but the way we are.

4 common personal life that we are facing:-
1) If I have unresolved anger, I will see things through angry, critical eyes.
     (1 Samuel 18:6-9)
2) If I have unresolved fear, I will view things from fearful eyes.
     (2 Timothy 1:7)  - [KJV]
3) If I have a negative attitude, I will view things through negative eyes.
     (Proverbs 23:7) - [KJV]
4) If I'm cheat, I will see things through cheating eyes and so on.
     (Acts 8:9-23)

** Whatever I see - the way I see it will always be twisted to match my distorted perception of reality and in so doing I will rationalize my every thought and justify my every action. **

No Higher Calling

I was re-watching "Touched By An Angel" - Season 8 Episode 1 - Holy of Holies because I was following a series that depicts the true significance of the "The Tabernacle" which also involves the "Ark of the Covenant". However the curiosity of God's sovereignty is still a mystery to mankind. There it came when 2 of the Angels were singing "No Higher Calling" while the man fell on his knees in the presence of the Lord... It was so beautiful.

Sometimes, it just breaks my heart why men are so weak by not having THAT kind of faith that God has bestowed upon us to trust Him. He is Large (He is everywhere) yet He is small (He wants to be every single details of our lives). How amazing His presence can be... How I long to grasp hold of that presence and never let go. So, here is the beauty I want u all to listen :-

Teh Tarik (Pulled Tea) + Roti Canai

This is never my usual indulge, however if there is a chance that anyone is coming to Malaysia. This is a must for a breakfast treat. Do drop by at any "Mamak" (Indian Muslim stalls) and ask for a piece or two of Roti Canai [Pronounce it as: Roll+Tee  Char+Nai] (Google Translate: Bread Roll [I don't know why]) and a glass of Teh Tarik (Pulled Tea). Why "Pulled Tea"? This action serves as a form of "stirring" to melt down the sweetened condensed milk in a hot tea. Nevertheless, you can ask them to tone the milk down as it might get a little too sweet.

Sunday (4th March 2012) -- Holy Communion

It is a Holy Communion week where our church has invited Rev Sally Foo from Agape Gospel Assembly. It was a blessing to hear about her testimony. God has sustained her in order to share what she has been going through. Chemo after chemo, and yet she is standing strong for God to make a difference to many of the cancer patient in her local community.

She has also led us to Ecclesiastes 7:1-10 - Signpost for KINGDOM living as below:-

Today Pastor is teaching us how to be an IMPACT-ful church. The text he's taken is from the book of Acts 2:42-47 (also to emphasize on v47 [And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved])

The church in Acts was known as "the people who are turning the world upside down" -- This is a good thing because as Christian, we are actually turning the world the "rightside up". In this context, there are 6 characteristics to be an IMPACT-ful Church/Christian.

Mobilized for Ministry - (Acts 2:45)
Proclamation of the Gospel - (Acts 2:43) Why do I have the right to exist if we do not proclaim the Gospel?
Adoration (Acts 2:46)
Community - "You don't catch fish in the bathtub -- you go to where the fishes are."

    -- Going Through Trials and Circumstances
    -- Applying Or Understanding the word
    = Growing Deeper with God and His Word.

Sunday (30th October 2011)

This will be our last week of our Mission Emphasis month, and this week we have the privilege of worshiping with our Bahasa Service (Malaysian National Language Service) with our brothers & sisters from East Malaysia.

After with the wonderful worship, we were drawn by Rev. Phua Seng Tiong's word of encouragement to take up the challenge to be a witness for God's Kingdom. His testimonies of what he has witnessed of 2 changed men:-

1) Once a theft and was abandoned by his family and became the most excellent Taxi Driver by answering his telephone calls with "Praise The Lord" without fail. Prayer before the journey starts for his customers. Also, an automatic alarm wake up call for most of his customer whom they are complacent"

2) Once a terrorist and became a witness for Jesus after serving sometime in Prisons

3) A man who sings "I Have Decided To Follow Jesus" while knowing his family were being persecuted.

I know this song has been around since the first season of Smallville for their pilot & finale episodes. Little did I know that this song was made into a skit for missionaries which touches and saved many lives. The below video is telling us how the skit came about, enjoy!!!

Sunday (23rd October 2011)

4th Sunday of October and today is an exclusive day for all missionaries from our church to share their faith in what they do. The below are the list:-
1) Sister to Bangalore & India with Rev. Bess Graham and team
2) The Twelve who went to Chiang Rai, Thailand (with a skit which is VERY impressive)
3) Sister to reached out to the Chinese Nationals students and also an outreach to Mainland China too
4) Brother with his family to serve in our local country for both Limited and Restricted Access community
5) Pastor shares what the church has done for Mission over the years to provide accountability of where mission pledges has been put into good Mission use.

My Absence is not an excuse

Original Bootcamp M01S01 (Pre)

Alright, I have to admit that I'm really overweight and many has been telling me to keep my weight down and keep it healthy. Trust me, I was comtemplating about this issue for the past 10 years and I have not done a single thing. (Actually I do, but I gave up)... Hence, I was being introduced to Original Bootcamp Malaysia to keep myself fit and healthy. I was eager yet afraid that I wasn't able to cope with the regime schedule in the programme itself.

There I was, "Gungho" enough to sign myself up with Original Bootcamp Malaysia and received the below email:-

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to “ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP”.
You are currently enlisted in the KL PM program commencing on Monday 5th July 2010.
The meeting point for Original Bootcamp is at Padang Merbuk, just off Jalan Parlimen, opposite Akademi Sains Malaysia (Close to Bank Negara). If you need further directions, please just call us on 01-BOOTCAMP (012 668 2267) or click here to view a map. We can lock up your belongings during the session.
You will be required to meet your Instructors and fellow ‘Recruits’ at 1835 hours to finalise any admin requirements prior to roll call at 1845 hours. If you have any problems or need directions, please call your instructor on 01-BOOTCAMP (012 668 2267).
You will be required to bring the following items with you:• Water bottle• A warm hoodie, fleecy jumper or spare t-shirt to put on before and after your training.

Once introductions, the explanation of rules and regulations, and the morning's roll call are completed, we will commence the initial fitness assessment.
Pre-training AssessmentThe assessment has two major goals, to advise your Instructors as to your current fitness levels so that they can place you in a team that will challenge you, without asking you to do more than you are physically able, and to give you a reference point so that you can see just how much you have improved over the 4 weeks.
Upon the completion of the assessment we will give you your first taste of ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP.
Preparing For Day OneTo prepare for your first session, we suggest that you drink plenty of water the day before to hydrate yourself properly. It is too late to start drinking it on the day of bootcamp. Be careful not to eat too much right before the session. One or two pieces of toast or bread would be appropriate.
It is important to remember that ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP is not about yelling and hundreds of push ups. It has been scientifically designed to motivate individuals to challenge themselves physically, mentally and emotionally, with the sole objective of achieving their health & fitness goals.
Please advise your instructor prior to every session if there is anything that they need to know upfront (asthma, getting over a cold, sore muscle, bad knees any injuries or illness)

Sandra Bullock - Acceptance Speech

Never did I know that one of my favourite actress has won an Academy Award this year!!! She's none other than Sandra Bullock for the movie "The Blind Side". All those years of comedic genre, she has not only acted but produced many of her own production.

The below is her acceptance speech upon obtaining the award for the 82nd Annual Academy Award (The most well-said acceptance speech ever, IMHO):-

“Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down? I would like to thank the Academy for allowing me in the last month to have the most incredible ride with rooms full of artists that I see tonight and that I’ve worked with before and I hope to work with in the future, who inspire me and blaze trails for us. Four of them that I’ve fallen deeply in love with I share this night with and I share this award with.

Gabby, I love you so much. You are exquisite. You are beyond words to me. Carey, your grace and your elegance and your beauty and your talent makes me sick. Helen, I feel like we are family through family and I don’t have the words to express just what I think of you. And Meryl, you know what I think of you and you are such a good kisser.
